Separately from PostHog, our own server counts page visits without setting any cookie or storing anything in your browser (see our Privacy Policy). When you are signed in, it reads the user ID from the essential __session cookie your browser already sends, so visits can be linked to your account. It does not read or set any other cookie for this.
